There has been no official communication from Jio on the new grace plan offering, and it is also not known if the same grace period is offered on all prepaid plans under Jio.

  In a new move, telecom major Reliance Jio is apparently offering a grace plan for all prepaid users post the expiry of their pack. The grace period plan kicks off after the plan has expired for a period of 24 hours. During this grace plan, customers will be able to make unlimited on-network calls. This move is for people who are unable to recharge their accounts immediately considering the restrictions during the lockdown period.
The new offer was spotted after the telecom major had launched the Rs 2,399 prepaid recharge plan which brings 2GB of daily data and unlimited voice calling benefits for 365 days. The grace period was first reported by OnlyTech and the report states that the plan is automatically activated once the prepaid plan validity goes off. The grace plan will be available for 24 hours and Jio users will have to recharge their account in this time to prevent deactivation of services.

Jio very recently launched a long-term Rs 2,399 prepaid plan which arrives with 2GB daily data and unlimited voice and SMS messages for 365 days. Jio also introduced the Rs 151, Rs 201, and Rs 251 work-from-home add-on or data vouchers. The Rs 151 pack provides 30GB data, the Rs 201 pack offers 40GB data, and the Rs 251 pack provides 50GB data. These packs don't get a validity period and will last according to the existing base plan's expiry date.
